Each environment has its own theme and style. Some help the heroes more, some help the villain, and others play no favorites. In cases where a card deals damage to a specific number of targets we can calculate damage easily, but some cards do damage to all non-environment targets, so in those instances we can assume there are the minimum three heroes and one villain, so a conservative estimate of four targets was used. There are rare times when an environment card strikes all targets, so if that card is a target (meaning it has health) we will increase the count to 5.
Insula Primalis is a savage jungle, complete with dinosaurs who attack heroes and villains alike! Pterodactyls will steal your equipment, raptors attack as a group, and a T-Rex goes after the biggest meal it can find. There's the chance a volcano will erupt & burn everyone and the field of obsidian glass it leaves behind will increase the damage everyone takes.

This time the fight breaks out downtown and there are civilians in harm's way. The police are on scene to help, but they're outmatched and its up to the heroes to pick up the slack. In such tight quarters the heroes get restricted & can't use the full range of their abilities on this battlefield.

Fighting in an underwater city can be difficult, there are flooded hallways, tentacles from the deep, and crumbling statues. There are a few helpful secrets in store as well, like a room that increases healing and another that lets everyone play a card for free.

Baron Blade's personal offworld facility, Wagner Mars Base is not there to make life easy for the heroes. There are defenses in place, including a self destruct mechanism and the fighting causing places in the base to explode. Thankfully there aren't many things attacking heroes directly, but the heroes will have their hands full with the obstacles they'll face here.
